SANBORN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A family is without a home after a fire heavily damaged the structure on Monday in Sanborn.

Fire Chief Tim Schwehr said the family was able to get out of the home safely thanks to a smoke detector. Schwehr said other family members are working with other entities to raise funds for the family who lost several of their possessions and were displaced by this fire.
