JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High volleyball team opened the WDA season with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-20) win over Legacy.

In the opening set, the Jays were able to pull away late after a back-and-forth start. With the Jays down 15-14, they scored 11 of the final 12 with Addi Douty at the service line.

Legacy appeared to take control early and appeared ready to even the match. Leading 9-2, the Sabers proceeded to give back the lead and Jamestown wrestled back control behind Ella Roaldson. She finished with 10 kills.

Jessa Anderson lead the team with 12 kills.

Jamestown will play in Bismarck against BHS on September 10th.
