JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center (JREC) is continuing to support business, individuals and more with different, free sessions.
On September 19th, JREC will be hosting James Maguire of High Point Networks. Maguire is a Senior Security Engineer with 9 years of industry experience.
Dustin Leingange also works for High Point Networks.
Leingang says they want to help as many as possible with the free session on cyber security through the JREC.
Leingang says they’ll discuss why cyber attacks are so prevalent, shopping for malware, looking at leaked passwords, “phishing” and more.
He says it doesn’t matter the size of business, home access or anything, if cyber attackers can get your information, they have leverage.
The free event will be held September 19th from 6 PM to 8 PM in the US Building on the University of Jamestown campus. You’re encouraged register ahead of the event at jrecenter.com.
