VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Junior and Senior High School in Valley City went into a lock-down for approximately 20 minutes on Friday, August 30th while they dealt with a student who was not following safe directives.

Junior High Principal Dan Larson said we used the administrative lock-down procedure to ensure the safety and integrity of our building while dealing with the student. He said the situation was dealt with as quickly as possible with the combined efforts of School Administration and School Resource Officer Sean Hagen. No other details about this incident were released.
