VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KFGO) – A week after his disappearance, the search continues for a Valley City man. 40 year-old Mark Davies was last heard from on August 23rd when he was in Kathryn, ND.

Police Chief Phil Hatcher said ground and air searches have been conducted, but there’s been no sign of Davies or the black 1999 GMC Yukon that he was driving. In Hatcher’s words, it’s like he disappeared from the face of the earth.

The disappearance is considered suspicious, friends say Davies left home without his dog, Hank, which is out of character for him. A private plane and a State Patrol aircraft have been used in the search.
