JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department was called to the Gladstone Inn & Suites Thursday morning to a reported kitchen fire.

The call came in around 7:35 AM to a fire in the kitchen that was reportedly coming from the fryer. Reports indicate smoke coming from the roof of the building. Witnesses says there were police and ambulance crews on scene as well.

Jamestown Police evacuated the building before fire crews arrived on scene. Fire damage was confined to the fryer unit. Smoke damage was reported to the kitchen and business side of the building. No injuries were reported.

The restaurant will be closed the rest of Thursday.

Four City Fire units and 22 firefighters were on the scene for two hours.
