JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High volleyball team opens the season this weekend at the Bismarck Invitational and will play their first home match on Tuesday against Legacy. The Jays will be searching for their fourth consecutive trip to the state tournament, which also includes a runner-up finish in 2017.

The coaches in the west certainly think highly of what the Jays have coming back and have selected them to finish second in a very balanced top half of the league. Century, the four-time defending state champs, are picked to win it again, but have lost 6’5″ Lauren Ware for the season to an ACL tear.
