LISBON, N.D. (KFGO) – A Lisbon man is in jail following his arrest on Child Sexual Misconduct charges in Lisbon.

The Ransom County Sheriff’s office says 71 year-old Ernest Ballinger faces two felony charges. Deputies arrested him after investigating reports of sexual abuse of a minor that they say took place last year.

Other reports came to light about sexual abuse of minors going back to the 1980’s. The Sheriff’s office is asking for any information on other possible abuse incidents.
