HILLSBORO, N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Cross Country team were in Hillsboro to open the 2019 season. The Girls finished fourth overall while the boys were seventh.

Individually, Greta Goven was the top finisher for the Hi-Liner girls. Goven was seventh overall with a time of 19:54. Reagan Berg was right behind her, 15 seconds behind, to finish eighth.

Adam Punton was the top boys finisher taking 14th overall with a time of 18:01.
