Dorothy Eva Lalie was born on August 6, 1927 in Devils Lake, the daughter of Frank and Lena (Rerich) Lalie. She attended school in Devils Lake and graduated from High School at Great Falls, Montana after moving there with her parents in 1943. The family later moved to Clarkston, WA. Dorothy worked as a cashier at a local theatre in Clarkston for several years. Following the death of her mother in 1971, she and her Dad moved to Jamestown. Following the death of her father in 1976, she returned to WA for several years and returned to Jamestown in 1979. Dorothy had been a resident of Eventide. She was a member of the St. James Basilica in Jamestown.

Dorothy was the last of her family. Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Visitation: One hour before the service.

Interment: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Devils Lake, ND.
