BUCHANAN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called to two different fires in Buchanan Thursday morning.
According to Fire Chief Brian Paulson, the first call was around 7:15 AM at a house located at 2837 74th Avenue SE in rural Buchanan. Major damage was reported and there were no injuries.
The second call was around 8:20 AM at 8015 27th Street SE. Two dogs reportedly died in the blaze, but there were no other injuries reported. A GoFundMe has been set for the family of the blaze. Click here for that.
Seven rural fire department unites and 24 firefighters responded to both fires. An investigation is currently underway.
