JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – July was a busy month at North Dakota airports.

More than 110,000 people boarded planes. That’s up nearly 12 percent from July 2018.

State Aeronautics Commission director Kyle Wanner says it’s a reflection of a strong economy in North Dakota. Plus:

Wanner says he expects the boarding numbers should be strong for the rest of the year.

The only airport to see a drop in passenger numbers in July compared with July, 2018 was Jamestown. It was down just over one percent.

Jamestown Regional Airport saw 1,210 boarding’s compared to 1,225 in July of last year. There’s been a total of 6,344 boarding’s at the airport in 2019.
