MANDAN, N.D. (Prairie Public) – A suspect in the murders of four people at a Mandan property management firm has waived his preliminary hearing.

44 year-old Chad Isaak of Washburn is accused of the April first shooting and stabbing deaths of RJR Property Management owner Robert Fakler, and RJR employees Adam Fuherer and Bill and Lois Cobb at the company’s Mandan office.

A preliminary hearing had been scheduled Monday. But Isaak waived his right to a preliminary hearing. And he has entered a “not guilty” plea.

A trial date has not yet been set.
