EAGAN, MN (NewsDakota.com) – The Minnesota Vikings training camp left Mankato 2 years ago, and haven’t looked back.
This is the 2nd season of training camp at TCO Performance Center in Eagan. The 277,000 square foot facility features five practice fields including TCO Stadium. Four of those are grass, one is synthetic.
There is also an indoor practice facility that has a 100 yard synthetic surface field and full-clear height for kicking.
TCO Stadium is an outdoor football stadium with a capacity of 6,500 with a possibility to expand to 10,000 for youth, high school, and amateur athletics and other community events.
This 40 acre campus serves as Vikings headquarters, moving from the previous location known as Winter Park in Eden Prairie.
This facility has state of the art training facilities including cardiovascular and specialized speed rooms, hydrotherapy, and post work out recovery rooms.
There is also a hotel being constructed on the property along with plans for a shopping center and more developments.
