JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown held their regular meeting Monday evening.
The city received and opened bids for two separate projects at the Jamestown Civic Center. This includes roof removal and replacement area “A” and expansion joint removal and replacement.
City Engineer Travis Dillman says one bid was received for the roof removal and replacement.
The bid for the expansion joint removal and replacement also came in well below the engineer estimates.
Both bids were approved unanimously by the council.
The city also approved several other items including the authorization of the City Administrator and staff to work on a tax abatement agreement for the proposed mixed-use facility at the University of Jamestown.
They also approved a resolution to accept New Phase Energy’s conclusions and recommendations from the Feasibility Study of the biogas-to-renewable natural gas project.
