MINOT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota State Fair announced the results from their 2019 competitive categories. The North Dakota State Fair receives over 45,000 4H, FFA, and Open Class entries each year from all over North Dakota.
Congratulations to all who participated and received Blue Ribbons and more at the State Fair competition July 19-27 of 2019.
In the Writing Division – Best of Division went to Caitlin Reiten of Kathryn for, “A Little Under the Weather.” Reiten also received a Blue Ribbon for her writing.
In the Junior Art Division – Chesney Thomsen and Alyssa Thomsen of Valley City received Blue Ribbons.
In the Junior Crafts Division – Chesney Thomsen of Valley City received Best Division and Alyssa Thomsen of Valley City received 2 Blue Ribbons.
In the Junior Foods Division – Chesney Thomsen of Valley City received 3 Blue Ribbons and Alyssa Thomsen of Valley City received 2 Blue Ribbons.
In the Jellies & Jams Division – Alyssa Thomsen of Valley City received a Blue Ribbon.

Each year the North Dakota State Fair releases an Exhibitor’s Handbook with a full listing of each division and class available. It will be ready to view in the spring of 2020.
The North Dakota State Fair is the largest annual event in North Dakota. The nine day event is held the third week of July. The 2020 dates are set for July 17-25 in Minot.
