JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With an ever growing system of connectivity, cybersecurity remains a top priority for businesses and homes.
Devices connected to the internet are always at high risk for a cyber attack. As the Information Security Officer for Starion Bank, Art Bakke knows a thing or two about cyber attacks.
Bakke says to combat cyber attacks, they use a variety of methods with one primarily being a layer of security.
Bakke will be bringing his experience and expertise to Jamestown through the Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center (JREC) on August 6th.
He says he’ll be open to questions and discussion to help people better understand threats and the resources available to help better protect company data.
Bakke will be available at the US Building on the University of Jamestown campus from 11 AM to 1 PM in Room 132. For more information, you can contact Katherine Roth at jrecenter.com or call 701-253-4112.
