VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hundreds of people turned out to participate and check out booths of food and fun activities lined up from Hinschberger Park to Chautauqua Park in the Let’s Walk Valley event on July 22nd.
Co-event coordinator Sharon Buhr from On the Move said the perfect weather coupled with the activities helped bring out a good crowd.
There were games and healthy food for kids and adults as well as prizes.
The event was funded by grants City County Health District received from the Health Resources Service Administration and the ND Department of Health to promote physical activity and healthy eating.
