LIDGERWOOD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A crop duster pilot escaped serious injury after his aircraft had mechanical issues and he had to make an emergency landing 8 miles northwest of Lidgerwood, ND.

During the landing the left wing of the aircraft clipped a telephone pole causing minor damage to the pole and to the wing of the aircraft.

The pilot Danny Thompson of Wyndmere, ND was not injured during the emergency landing. The crash remains under investigation.
