
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Apollo 11 mission there will be a Global Rocket Launch Tuesday, July 16th world wide. The regional launch will be held at 5pm at the Medicine Wheel Park in Valley City.
Local co-event coordinator Hilde Van Gijssel is encouraging the public to bring your rockets and attend this fun. She talked about the technological impact that the Apollo missions gave to the world and much more during this Voice of the Valley interview with Steve Urness.
The Global Rocket Launch to commemorate Apollo 11 to the moon and back will start at 5pm on Tuesday, July 16th at 5pm in Medicine Wheel Park in Valley City. Everyone is welcome.
