JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Behavioral Health Coalition will be hosting a first ever event just for teens this Saturday.

Made up of around 10 members, the coalition includes staff from the South Central Human Service Center and Central Valley Health.

Elyssa Dewald says the event is for all teens ages 13 to 18 and will feature glow sticks, glow in the dark face paint, glasses, music, games, food, drinks and more.

Tina Mikkelson is also a member of the the coalition.

Mikkelson says staff will be on hand to monitor the event.

Dewald says this is the first of many events they would like to put on. She says the goal is to host an event each month in Jamestown.

The event will start at 9 PM with registration at Taylor Stadium. It continues until 12 AM and is completely open to all teens. For more about the coalition or the event, click here.
