JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In summarizing the past 10 years for Triumph, Inc, you need only to look at the name.
Founded on July 15th, 2009, Triumph, Inc. started from humble beginnings. Ann Ede & Jennie Barnard both partnered with Don Elstad, who they said had the idea for the organization.
Ede says they began working with vocational referrals out of the back of her car, helping individuals learn home living skills, works skills, and social skills.
Barnard says from there, they continued to grow.
Ede says starting a business is tough and there were a lot of days that continued to test them in the beginning.
Today, Triumph Inc. Works with around 50 individuals across all programs and employs about 48 employees.
Ede says looking forward, they continue to be excited about their role in the community. She says they like where they are and are fortunate to continue doing what they do to serve.
Earlier this week, Triumph staff began giving unique thanks for those who have made the business possible. Ede & Barnhard also thanked several others who have helped over the past 10 years.
Today, Triumph Inc. continues to triumph. In 2018, over 1,446 total hours were volunteered through Triumph Inc.
