severe-storms-july-8th

BISMARCK, N.D. (Prairie Public) – The National Weather Service says we might see severe thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight over much of North Dakota.

John Paul Martin is with the Bismarck National Weather Service.

Martin says there are some showers moving into the state this morning. He says those will remain below severe criteria. He says the main action could come this afternoon.

Martin says once the severe weather threat moves on, Tuesday looks like an unpleasant day.

Martin says we’ll see improvement by mid-week. He says by Friday, temperatures will likely be back to the mid to upper 80s.
