JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Humane Society continues to operate as a no-kill, non-profit shelter.
Because of this, volunteers and donations are continually needed to maintain their day-to-day.
Humane Society Board Member Jay Nitchke says as far as volunteering, they’re more in need of the evening hours any day of the week.
Nitchke says volunteers can do so as much or as little as they wish. She says anything would help.
Volunteers can help a number of ways.
Nitchke says they also have several fundraisers planned to raise money for shelter operations and maintenance.
In the feral cat program, Nitchke says they have 15 cats captured and in need of a farmstead to locate to. You can contact the shelter for more information on that program and more by calling 701-252-0747 or visit jameriverhumanesocity.org.
