JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Washington Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is continuing to work and improve the conditions inside the school this summer.
While summer break continues, the MOST program continues to be held within the school. PTO President Cassie DuBray says Washington Elementary lacks any sort of air conditioning.
DuBray says right now, they’re seeking sponsors who can purchase specific units that can be placed within the school to maintain a comfortable setting for the kids and instructors.
DuBray says the units can also be used during the beginning months of the school year. She says they need 6 more of a certain unit type and individuals can either purchase it for the school or send money to the PTO to purchase it themselves.
The specific unit needed is the Emerson Quiet Kool EAPC10RD1 portable Air Condition.
DuBray says they’ve already had one unit get sponsored by Randy and Terri Kleinsasser from Pioneer Painting & Decorating. She encourages any individual, organization, or business to help sponsor a unit if they can.
