BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Game & Fish Department recently released the summary for the 2018 Upland Game season and numbers for pheasants were up.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says the numbers for a majority of the birds were not so far off from what was expected.
Leier says the numbers are headed in the right direction and says they hope they have better news this fall.
Leier is also reminding residents that there are some tags remaining from the deer gun lottery.

You can listen to Doug Leier each Thursday at 7:35 AM on Big Dog Country 95.5 FM with JD in the Morning.
