JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With the 4th of July Holiday right around the corner, Jamestown Mayor Dwaine Heinrich is encouraging city residents to stay safe.
Mayor Heinrich says residents should also take a few moments to reflect on why we’re celebrating the holiday this Thursday.
Mayor Heinrich says even with the set ordinance within city limits, you should still be mindful of your surroundings.
Mayor Heinrich also commended the JRMC and their new Cancer Center as well as the Stutsman County Fair Board for their hard work putting on the fair last week.
Heinrich also gave his condolences to the National Buffalo Museum after they lost Dakota Miracle. He says the community should look at the tragedy as an opportunity for growth.
Mayor Heinrich says while the incident is unfortunate, but it doesn’t portray “doom and gloom” for the museum.
