JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Kids are encouraged to bring their decorated bikes and join in the Jamestown Downtown Association’s (JDA) annual Kiddie Bike Parade July 4th.
The parade welcomes kids of all ages to dress-up and decorate their bikes to parade down main street in Jamestown on the 4th of July. JDA President Lynn Lambrecht says they look forward to the parade every year.
“The creativity the kids bring to their costumes and bike decorations is always a treat,” Lambrecht says.
The parade lineup and registration begins at 9:30 AM in the parking lot on First Street SW near Babb’s Coffee House. The parade begins at 10 AM and will travel south on First Avenue to McElroy Park where the Sertoma Club will serve root beer floats.
Parents are welcome to walk with the kids and decorate their wagons as well.
Bike helmets and cash prizes will be awarded for the best decorated bikes. A drawing is also planned for a boys and girls bike.
