JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Anglers in North Dakota are being reminded of the daily limit and restrictions in place for the state and locally.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says it’s always a good idea to run through the rules and regulations to make sure you’re up to date before heading out.
Leier says anglers need to keep in mind special restrictions in certain waters. For example, the Jamestown Reservoir & Pipestem Dam.

Leier says residents also need to check online at gf.nd.gov and see if they’ve received a deer lottery license. Leier also reports that the spring duck index is up 20% from last year. He says this means going into nesting time, there was good duck numbers.
