ENDERLIN, N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) – Dakota Mark did it at the plate and on the mound leading Enderlin to a 6-3 win over Fargo in American Legion Baseball last night at Hendrickson Field.
Mark hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning that proved to be some insurance runs. It gave the Railcats a 5-2 lead. Another run run would score on a wild pitch later in the inning for a 6-2 lead.
Fargo added a run in the sixth for the final margin.
Cameron Yantis gave the Railcats a 3-2 lead with a two-run home run in the fourth.
Mark got the win on the mound. He allowed five hits and two earned runs in seven innings. He walked two and struck out five.
In game two, Fargo scored five runs in the second inning to take a 5-0 lead on the way to a 13-5 victory.
Dakota Mark had two more hits for the Railcats and Cameron Yantis had a double and scored twice.
Enderlin is now 3-7 on the season and will host a tournament this weekend. They open with Langdon on Friday night.
