JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Fair boasts itself as the largest county fair in North Dakota and returns to the fairgrounds this week.

The 122nd Annual County Fair will run June 26th through the 29th and features food, games, carnival rides, and live entertainment on the stage every night. Fairboard Member Jim Exner has been with the board for 35 years.

Exner says there’s a lot of activity happening at the fairgrounds currently including the FFA & 4-H animals, exhibits and more. A big highlight returning this year is the Gator Boys.

Murphy Brothers Exposition VP of Public Relations Ted Buzunis says they return this year with 23 rides and attractions including some rides that have never been to the carnival before.

Buzunis says when he compares the Stutsman County Fair to the others he’s attended, it always comes out on top as one of the best.

Other big attractions for the fair is the rodeo, stock car races, and the 2nd annual cornhole tournament. Bands on the free stage include Tripwire, Johnny Holm Band, IV Play, and Truvail. Megapasses for the fair can be purchased at Superwash, Sooperstop, and Neighborhood Grocery and Gas.
