TOWER CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Here are the official results of a measure that failed to receive a super majority of votes in the Maple Valley School District to establish the School Building Fund Levy in the June 11 election.

Those who voted in favor of the building fund: 79 votes. And those who voted against establishing a building fund levy: 62 votes. Spoiled/Voided ballot: 1 vote. Total Ballots Cast: 142 votes.

In other news, Dan Wendel was elected to a 1-year term with 113 votes in the region of Buffalo. And George Richman was elected to a 3-year term with 99 votes for the Maple Valley School District’s At-Large position on June 11.
