FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fargo scored two runs in the bottom of the third in a 4-1 win over Enderlin in Legion baseball Monday night in Fargo at Jack Williams Stadium. The Bombers swept the Railcats with a 13-3 win in game two.
In game one, Colton Sorenson’s rbi ground out scored Brandon Utke with the lone run for the Railcats.
Utke took the loss on the mound. He allowed nine hits and two earned runs in six innings. He walked one and struck out four.
In game two, Fargo scored eight runs in the second inning and cruised to a 13-3 win.
Colton Sorenson scored on a wild pitch for Enderlin’s first run in the second to cut the lead to 3-1.
The Railcats added two in the third when Garrett Finger tripled in C Clasen then scored on Brandon Utke’s single.
Enderlin falls to 2-4 on the season. The Railcats will travel to Oakes to take on Post 36 Wednesday night at 6pm. That game can be heard on KDDR 1220AM/95.9 FM The Tornado.
