VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Noah Cabezas and Cody Abrahamson, recent graduates of Valley City High School, finished their culminating STEM (Science, Technology, Mathematics) project which partnered with The American Legion.

Valley City Public School District STEM Teacher Matt Nielson said Noah’s Eagle Scout project was the mail box that serves as an American Flag receptacle for worn flags. He has come full circle with Cody’s project to create a box that will serve as a free American Flag dispenser in STEM class.

This dispenser will be located inside the American Legion which believes every American should have the opportunity to fly the flag regardless of financial situation.

Past Post Commander, Judy Bennefeld said, “I have to say the flag box couldn’t be better, so wonderful.”
