JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A staple summer event in 2018, the Jamestown Downtown Arts Market will return this Thursday after positive reviews and high demand.

The event features artisan vendors, food, music, crafts, games, and more for all ages. Everything is held at the Hansen Arts Park in downtown Jamestown and everything is free. Jamestown Arts Center Executive Director Mindi Schmitz says they’ve set a theme for the next three months with June focusing on West African drumming and storytelling.

Schmitz says following that, they’ll feature the Gina Powers Band from Fargo. She says each Thursday is completely different from the other, making it a new experience each week.

The Downtown Arts Market is held 5:30 to 8:30 each Thursday excluding the 4th of July.
