FARGO, N.D. – Congressman Kelly Armstrong (R, N.D.) is now accepting applications for nomination to U.S. service academies for the class of 2024.

“As the Congressman for North Dakota, I’m honored to have the opportunity to nominate North Dakotans to attend a U.S. service academy,” said Armstrong. “With storied histories, time-honored traditions, and reputations for excellence, accepted cadets will receive a world-class education and become the future leaders of our armed forces.”

The service academies listed below require a nomination to attend. Individuals seeking to attend a service academy can be nominated by their U.S. Representative, both U.S. Senators, and from the Vice President of the United States. Cadet candidates are encouraged to seek nomination from all four elected officials.

Interested individuals can download an application packet on Armstrong’s website, Armstrong.house.gov, or by calling his Fargo office at (701) 353-6665. His website also has a Frequently Asked Questions that outlines eligibility and information required for nomination.

Completed applications are due to Armstrong’s Fargo office by October 18, 2019.

Individuals can seek nomination to the following service academies:

U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York
U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland
U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado
