JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Following his record-setting senior season, University of Jamestown sharpshooter, Kevin Oberweiser, made it known that playing overseas was next on his list. Yesterday, he signed with the Limerick Celtics in Ireland’s Division I to continue his basketball career.

Oberweiser made the most three-pointers in the a single season in Jimmie history, finished second all-time in single season points and scored 1,000 points in only two years.

His agent announced on Instagram that Oberwesier will leave in September to begin the season. He will be the only american on the roster.

The Division I name is a tad misleading, since its actually the second level of professional basketball in Ireland. The Super League is the top-league.
