VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There is a send off planned for the 14 Track and Field Atheles that will be heading to the State Track and Field Championships in Bismarck this weekend.
For the boys Jared Eggermont will be participating in the 110 and 300 Hurdles. And the 4×100 relay team of Evan Meilke, Austin Shape, Cade Powers and Jaden Compson.
For the girls, the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams of Karina and Olivia Olson, VeVe Lee and Jocey Kriewald are heading to Bismarck as are the 4×800 relay team of Sydnee Ingstad, Lexi Triebold, Reagan Berg and Avery Murray. Murray is also heading to state in the 1600 Meter Run. Allysen Mathias will be competing in the Javelin.
Head Coach Trevor Bakalar says they will have a send off for these athletes Thursday.
Track and Field team also had their season ending awards night on Tuesday. Here are the winners for the girls.
