JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce and City Beautification Committee are in search of the most beautiful and decorated yards in Jamestown.

The annual Yard of the Week program was introduced as a way for the Beautification Committee to highlight and recognize the work city residents do to keep and maintain their yards and add to the beauty of the community.

Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens says they’re currently in need of yard nominations before the program begins in June.

Bivens pointed out that because a new yard is recognized every week by the chamber and the committee, there’s a high need for new nominations.

Yard of the week will be published in the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce newsletter, Jamestown Sun, and NewsDakota.com over the course of the summer.
