VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota state senator Ray Holmberg the chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, spoke about the recent 2019 legislative session at a meeting of the Valley City Kiwanis at the Town and Country Club on May 15.
Holmberg urged the passage of Senate Bill 2297, a bonding bill that included $32 million in funding for a new Communication and Fine Arts Building on the campus of Valley City State University.
Larry Robinson, executive director of the Valley City State University Foundation, also serves as a state senator, he presented Holmberg with a plaque recognizing his support of North Dakota Higher Education and Valley City State University.
