JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out.

Jamestown Parks and Recreation and Jamestown Arts Center will be providing free meals to children during the summer. Beginning June 3rd, meals will be served at Leapaldt Park, Nickeus Park, and Two Rivers Activity Center, Monday through Friday at 11:30am-12:00pm, and Hansen Arts Park, Monday through Thursday at 12:00-12:30pm.

There are no income requirements or registration. Anyone age 18 or younger may come to eat.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Jamestown Parks and Recreation and Jamestown Arts Center to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer.
