JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The first severe thunderstorm of 2019 rolled through North Dakota Wednesday evening.

The storm brought with it heavy rains, high winds and hail in some parts of the state. The Bismarck National Weather Service reports that hail of up to 1.75 inches were reported at Spiritwood Lake. Lake Williams, Saint Anthony, Hazelton, Burnstad and Fort Rice also reported hail.

Damages were reported around the Spiritwood Lake area.
