JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The skid continued for the Blue Jay baseball team yesterday when they were swept by the Mandan Braves, 5-3 and 11-1. The losses push Jamestown to 4-10 in the WDA and ran the losing streak to nine games.

Jamestown has their next eight at home to end the season, but only four are conference games. They currently sit eighth in the West, but the four conference games remaining are against the two teams below them. The Jays can still mathematically reach the 4th-spot.

A home doubleheader against Watford City is scheduled for Friday and Aberdeen Central comes to town on Saturday.
