NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The a cappella quartet Tonic Sol-fa will be bringing their successful act to New Rockford this Thursday, May 9th.
The Minneapolis-St. Paul based group has a largely pop music-oriented sound and have sold over 2 million copies of their CD’s. Tonic Sol-fa started at St. John’s University and has grown with appearances on NBC’s Today Show and in Newsweek magazine.
Jared Dove is the bass of the group, which is also comprised of Shaun Johnson, Tenor and founding member, Greg Bannwarth, Tenor, and Theo Brown, Baritone.
Dove says they’ve never been to New Rockford before, but are looking forward to bringing their music and talents to the area. He says their show is more than just singing.
Dove says their act has been together for more than 20 years and has continued to entertain audiences around the U.S.
Dove says they’re going to look at making the area a regular stop in the future and would love to see as many as possible.
The show will be held at the New Rockford-Sheyenne Gymnasium at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students 13 and up and youth 12 and under are $10 and can be purchased at dprca.com. You can also call 701-947-2174.
