JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Blue Jay Speech Team completed its season with the annual banquet Sunday, May 5.
Awards were presented to middle school participants Anja McDermid for ‘Most Valuable Middle School Speaker’, Gavin Ameigh for “Most Improved Middle School Speaker’, and Dominique Scobee for ‘Hardest Worker Middle School Speaker’. On the varisty team, Alivia Hoke was awarded “Outstanding Speaker’, Dawson Mee ‘Most Improved’, Madelyn Dempsey-Reinarts ‘Hardest Worker’, and both Madison Motschenbacher and MacKenzie Johnson received ‘Rookie of the Year’.
The team’s seniors are Katlin Gerszewski, Kathryn Hetletvedt, Alivia Hoke, MacKenzie Johnson, Joseph Lauinger, Samara McDermid, Abby Rang, Madelyn Dempsey-Reinarts, and Jessica Schmitz.
