VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A cow got loose from her handlers near the Valley City Veterinary Clinic and made her way up 9th Avenue northwest on Monday, May 6th.
A spokesman with the Barnes County Sheriff’s office said two tranquilizer darts were used to calm the animal down after she jumped a fence and ran into a pasture.
Once the animal was subdued in the pasture she was loaded back into the cattle trailer northwest of Valley City.
Recently, two Bulls got away from there handlers near Valley Meat Supply on Thursday, May 2nd before being rounded up. No injuries or damage was reported in either of these incidents in Valley City.
