JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 8th Annual Father/Daughter/Grandfather Dance welcomed 266 girls and 456 total individuals on Friday, May 3rd.
The event is a fundraiser for the Stutsman County Relay for Life. Co-organizer Linda Brown says they were able to raise $5,213 from tickets and spectators for the event. She says their relay team was also able to raise around $1,420 in luminary sales.
The annual event has been held for 8 years, raising money for the Stutsman County Relay for Life. Organizer Mayda Mueller says the event first started after Marilyn Teckenburg told her about a similar event.
