LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota) – Both teams were strong on the mound Friday, but Enderlin/Maple Valley Falcons defeated LaMoure/Litchville-Marion 2-1. Jacob Johnson allowed just one hits to LaMoure/Litchville-Marion.
Johnson earned the win for Enderlin/Maple Valley Falcons. He surrendered one run on one hit over seven innings, striking out 14.
Brandan Utke went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Enderlin/Maple Valley Falcons in hits.
In game two, Shay Ness had two hits and drove in two runs as LaMoure/Litchville-Marion scored four runs in the first and held on for a 7-5 won.
Ness went three innings on the mound.He allowed four hits, two earned runs with two walks and six strike outs.
Austin Glarum had two hits for the Falcons and Lain Combs drove in two runs as the Falcons are now 11-2 on the season.
