BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 2019 North Dakota Legislative Session ended an April 26th as legislators passed a record $14 billion dollar budget over the next two years.
A bonding bill included funding to build a new Communication and Fine Arts building on the campus of Valley City State University. The bill also provided funding for Dunbar Hall at NDSU and an Agriculture Products Development Center to be located on the NDSU campus.
District 24 State Senator Larry Robinson of Valley City was a co-sponsor of Senate Bill 2297 which provided $32 million to replace Foss Music Hall being that building is on the wrong side of the city’s permanent flood protection project.
