BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With summer approaching, North Dakota waters are sure to be filled with many outdoor enthusiasts.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says water recreation is approaching with docks and boat ramps being set in place across the region and boats being taken out of storage.
Leier says the free course is available through the North Dakota Game & Fish Department’s website.
In other Game & Fish news, Leier says the mule deer survey was recently complete and there’s a lot of good that comes with it.
North Dakota’s 2019 deer season is set, with 65,500 licenses available to hunters this fall, 10,350 more than last year.
Leier says there’s also good news for turkey season as waters continue to rise. He says as always, get outdoors, stay safe, and follow the rules.
